As we begin 2023, Pastor Bob is preaching a new message series based on Jesus’ words to seven churches recorded in Revelation 2-3.  In His letters,  our Lord pays a pastoral visit to seven different first-century local churches and tailors a message fitting to each. In addressing the congregations,  Jesus’ words include encouragement, instruction, warning, and promise. These were real churches filled with real people struggling with real problems. Though 2000 years separate us from them, their issues are not much different from our own. As we go through the seven letters we will see ourselves and our own church in a new light.
